Tavern Graffiti: The Vegan Halfling

Maybe my last limerick was a little too much for a family friendly site such as this... I didn't like it much myself. Hopefully this one's a bit better.

A chubby halfling by the name of Stubbs
Gladly searched through the rubbish of pubs
He claimed "I'm a fregan!
And also a vegan!"
Just before dying from carnivorous grubs.

If it's no good, go look at this cartoon - maybe it will make you smile... :^)

An old song, traditionally sung by an infected adventurer's companions just before and as they they apply the, er, cure to the problem:

Ooooooooooooh!
99 flesh-eating grubs in your arm!
99 grubs in your arm!
Drink a beer,
Conquer your fear:
Forget about all o' them grubs in your arm!

[hack!]

98 flesh-eating grubs in your arm!
98 grubs in your arm!
Drink a beer,
Conquer your fear:
Forget about all o' them grubs in your arm!

[burn!]

and so on.

Most adventurers so treated by companions who find the song helpful ("laughter is the best medicine, chum!")tend to risk a much higher chance of dying by alcohol poisoning then from the grubs themselves or the administered cure.

I've enjoyed all the limericks myself,
Nary a one would I leave on the shelf,
You bring dungeons alive,
Using that Irish jive,
About the orc, morning star, and elf.
